OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY – SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

As Şahinler Yapı Proje, we regard occupational health and safety (OHS) as one of our top priorities. We develop and implement policies fully compliant with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the European Union Occupational Safety Regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Law of Turkey to ensure that our employees are in a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment.

SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

We take systematic measures to minimize risks at all our construction sites and workplaces. In accordance with ILO’s occupational health and safety principles, we make the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) mandatory, and increase awareness through regular training and on-site drills. We also adopt the “zero risk” approach at our sites by developing processes in compliance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards.

TRAINING AND AWARENESS

Within the framework of the Turkish Occupational Health and Safety Law, ILO Safety Conventions, and EU Work Standards, we provide regular training to our employees. We raise awareness on emergency procedures, safe working at heights, fire prevention measures, and protection against chemical and physical risks. To institutionalize the OHS culture, we encourage active employee participation and strengthen feedback mechanisms on safety matters.

ZERO ACCIDENT POLICY

Our main goal is to prevent all work accidents with the “Zero Accident” principle. We conduct regular risk assessments at our construction sites and facilities to generate proactive solutions for preventing accidents. By adopting policies aligned with ILO Convention No. 155 on Occupational Safety and Health and Working Environment and OSHA (European Agency for Safety and Health at Work) standards, we promote safe work habits.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND INSPECTIONS

We fully comply with the International Labour Organization (ILO), EU Occupational Safety Regulations, and the Turkish Occupational Health and Safety Law. We ensure a safe work environment through periodic inspections, on-site controls, and OHS risk analyses. We also ensure that our subcontractors and suppliers comply with occupational safety standards and conduct comprehensive audits. To continuously improve our OHS performance, we establish feedback mechanisms and implement international best practices.
